Robin Wellington, LPC-A, RYT-500, CTP – Mental Health Counselor
Do you appear to be managing life well on the outside, yet inside feel anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself? Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable individuals who understand their patterns yet still feel stuck in them. I offer a warm, compassionate space grounded in trauma-focused, mind-body approaches where we explore what’s happening in your mind, body, and nervous system so you can experience real change—not just insight, but a deeper sense of calm, clarity, and connection.
Treatment Approach
My approach to therapy is integrative, experiential, and deeply rooted in somatic (mind–body) awareness. While insight and understanding are important, lasting change often happens when we work directly with the nervous system where many emotional patterns are held. In our work together, I incorporate mindfulness, somatic awareness, and nervous system regulation practices to help you notice what is happening in your inner experience in real time. As we gently explore these moments with curiosity and compassion, we begin to uncover and shift the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. This process allows change to occur not just intellectually, but at a deeper level where the mind and body can begin to experience greater calm, resilience, and freedom.
